| July 25, 2005 | Definitely had a good time this weekend and good crowds. Thanks to all that came out. Special thanks to Mark & Connie, Joe & Millie, Teri, Tracy, Tom's mom and (of course) Tara (5 out of 6 band members thank you). Thanks to Kyle for helping out with lights and breakdown. Josh had car problems and couldn't make it for recording - we'll catch it next time. So our first gig with Tom on drums was a rousing success. |
| July 18, 2005 | Looking forward to being back at Woody's this weekend. There will be several celebrations going on siumultaneously.
It's Cynthia's birthday and we expect a lot of friends for the party. Carmen's brother comes back in town for a welcome home party. Josh will be recording and will set up mics in the audience to capture the excitement. SO DON'T MISS IT!!! |
| June 9, 2005 | Taking a short break from performing for the remainder of the month to work on some new songs and.... !!! ORIGINALS !!!. We've had quite a few requests for original material. We recently put together one of Myles' songs and it went over really well. So much, that it encouraged us to put some focus on it. More to come... :) |
| June 5, 2005 | A good weekend at Caddy's. Thanks to
all that came out, especially Britt's family, Joseph & Matt, Millie and Joe. Friday night "the Solid Gold Dancers" really seemed to enjoy "Hot Child In The City". We also had a good reaction for the Gavin Degraw song "I Don't Wanna Be". As always, "Sk8ter Boi" (sic) was a favorite. The night was also recorded and we're anxious to hear the playback. Saturday night was video taped by Steve and he's burning them to DVD so clips can be put on the website. Chris came out on short notice to run sound and did a great job. We always like the sound at Caddy's. A BIG THANKS goes to Steve and Chris! |
| April 24, 2005 | A wild weekend Woody's. Friday night, Steve shot some video and
had an altercation with a balance-impaired patron - our hero Steve successfully
defended the honor of his video camera. Saturday night brought a wedding reception and excitement was in the air as the dancing and cavorting carried late into the night. Josh got a pretty good recording off the board - so thanks to him for making that happen. |
